First Annual Cornhole Tournament a Success!

On Sunday, August 16th, Stepping Stone Housing, Inc. (SSHI) held it's First Annual Cornhole Tournament at The Penalty Box in Damariscotta. Eighteen players battled over three hours to crown the three top teams: First Place: Rico and Denise, Second Place: Chris and Sheila, and Third Place: Bruce and Mike. Teams were made up of one experienced player and one inexperienced player. The Penalty Box kept the players well hydrated and fed during the tournament, which many spectators cheering the players on from the outdoor deck.
Stepping Stone Board Members were present both playing in the tournament and selling raffle tickets for two amazing Adirondack chairs donated by The Carpenter's Boat Shop. The winner was drawn at the end of the Tournament.
Many thanks to the tournament's sponsors: The Penalty Box, 44 North, Camden National Bank, Will Avantaggio, Masters Machine Comapny, Harrington Outdoor Services, Rick Austin, Comfort Keepers, Lakeside Lawn & Garden, Morning Dew Farm, Quick Turn Auto Repair, Water of Life Lutheran Church, and other individual donors. The tournament raised nearly $4k for affordable housing in Lincoln County.
